This is a theme rather than a named completed project. It describes the throughline of Abimbola's work: treating materials and production methods as design decisions, not afterthoughts.
Architectural polystyrene, EPS panels and decorative elements each raise the same questions — how components are made locally, how they perform in Nigerian climates, how builders install them, and how they can be maintained.
The aim is a closer loop between the drawing board and the factory floor, so that good design becomes easier and more affordable to build.
